In an effort to increase or modify the power of the single cylinder motorcycle and ATV engine, we have developed simple to use PC Software to program our range of X10 CDI's. This software allows performance gains previously only available to factory race teams. Typically engine tuners have modified engines based on the stock ignition timing, which has restricted their efforts in gaining maximum performance. To increase horsepower output the tuner must match all aspects of the combustion process, of which the spark timing plays an integral part. In addition, developing a race winning engine is not just about peak horsepower, it is also about customising the power delivery to suit rider preferences and track conditions. The Vortex Performance ICE Software in conjunction with our range of fully featured Programmable CDI's allows the user to customise power delivery through the manipulation of spark timing. In addition we have a large range of models available, enabling a engine developer to service the broadest possible customer base.With our latest X10 CDI the options available to the engine tuner are endless. Up to 10 3D Maps can be developed on the dyno and at the track to suit a range of engine configurations, track conditions, temperatures and barometric pressures .The Pre -Programmed CDI can be then sent out to the end customer and changed as easy as the clickers on your suspension on the X10 Switch using a small screwdriver. Being a PC based system these tools can be upgraded to add new features and bike models as simply as loading a new software version sent on a CD ROM or via e-mail. This future proofs the tools as next generation bike models are released with new technologies.
